Saints Vs. Falcons

Falcons played well, and Brees flubbed a few that SHOULD have cost the Saints the game.  Two straight interceptions due to pressure, come on, you need to be more focused than that.  Matty Ice kept his cool, but lost out on a third and 8 conversion.  It all came down to that play, and unfortunately, it didn't go the way of the Falcons.

Then there is the note of the touchdown that should have been.  Blatant pass interference in the end zone should not be tolerated.  I don't agree with people who play that way, and I think it effects the reputation of the team.  My view of the Saints as a team dropped another peg due to that single play.

There were a few plays that were millimeters from being called in the Falcon's favor.  The fumble that gave the Saints the ball on the 10 was not a very high point, but everyone is entitled to mistakes.  The Saints had a fumble that was called a fumble, but was overturned, and that could have severely changed the game.

Either way, the Saints played fairly well, and fought hard, and were rewarded.  A playoff berth and a +2 for their record was a worthy reward.  Let's see how things go next week!

Full Metal Jacket

I forgot how awesome this movie is.  My girlfriend had never seen it, and it was conveniently streaming on Netflix.

I didn't know they stacked shit that high!

Many people think Kanye West is a douche bag.  Well, I agree, however, I will say that he is quite a talented douche bag.

Punctuated by the particularly good "All of the Lights", "Monster", and "Runaway".

Of course, west enlists the assistance of several other artists ranging from Rihanna and Nicki Minaj to Rick Ross and Elton John.

I highly recommend buying this album.  It is very entertaining.

Tom Walkinshaw (1946-2010)

This is really all that needs to be said.  A picture is worth millions of words.

Rest in Peace Tommy.  I hope there is something fast wherever you are, that you can make faster, and more professional.

Caddy going back to racing

Cadillac last left the racing arena in 2008 (2007 as a works team) when Team Remington Cadillac left the then titled SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT field.

Coming back for 2011, Caddy will run the new CTS-V Coupe in GT yet again, against the likes of highly modified Volvos, Porsche, Vipers, Corvettes, and, hopefully, the new Mustang Boss 302S.

Evidently, Andy Pilgrim has signed back on with the team, and Pratt & Miller will again be providing the engineering expertise needed to become champions yet again.  Will Cadillac again earn their Champion's Wreaths?

My New MB5

It's been some time.

So, I have not posted for a while. One, I have been WAY busy since the end of the F1 season. Here is a recap of what happened in the last few weeks.

1. Comcast screwed up my internet. It will hopefully be fixed today, but it has been down for 3 weeks. I am posting this from Work.

2. Bought a motorcycle. More on that later.

3. Mark Webber released a book. A broken shoulder during the last four races of the year could have been what prevented him from taking the 2010 title.

4. Today is Donut day at work. so...yay for that.

5. Fernando Alonso was announced as the Team Boss choice for driver of the year. IMHO, he certainly deserves it.
